Maruchu Sangyo Co., Ltd. is a footwear manufacturer that has engaged with planning and development, working earnestly while also placing importance on its own feeling of enjoyment, each day since its foundation in 1968.The cornerstone of the present-day business is the founder's supply of rubber beach sandals as an OEM to the occupying US forces back in the 1950s. We have continued our licensing business with Sanrio Co., Ltd. for some 48 years and engage in product development for a wide range of licensed products-from baby goods to men's goods-also including surf brands such as HANGTEN and LIGHTNING BOLT. We currently trade nationwide with a focus on Japanese mass merchandizers and footwear specialty stores, but also extending to major select shops and in a capacity as OEM for entertainment production live goods.We continue to produce quality products through our dedication to Japanese planning and the quality control characteristic of Japanese companies.
